Install Instructions for RAI2-FMM-0304

Before You Start

Note: This intake kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

- Body Lift or Lowering Kit

- Custom Hood

- Throttle Body Spacer / Upgrade

Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.

- Ensure all parts are present.

- If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.

- Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.

- Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Required Tools

- 5/16 or 8mm socket/nut driver

- Flat head screw driver

-X-Acto knife

Step 1

Remove the hose clamp from the stock intake with a 5/16" nut driver or flathead screwdriver

Step 2

Pull off the PCV line from the barb on the intake tube.

Step 3

Depress the button on the MAF sensor connector and remove from the MAF.

Step 4

With a 5/16" socket, remove the bolt securing the OEM airbox to the fender.

Step 5

Slide the Shaker connecting tube off the OEM airbox fresh air duct.

Step 6

Remove the OEM intake from the vehicle then remove the MAF tube from the intake with a 10mm socket.

Step 7

Using the included bolts to attach the MAF adaptor to the MAF tube. Make sure to install the gasket in between the tube and machined adaptor.

Step 8

Install the silicone band then the reducing coupler over the band. Leave a little loose so you can reposition when in the car,

Step 9

Install the intake tube into the reducer and 45 degree coupler onto the tube. The shorter side of the 45 installs onto the tube.

Step 10

Install the filter onto the MAF adaptor and install the intake assembly into the vehicle. Install the hose clamps onto the 45 and tighten to the throttle body.

Step 11

Remove the male fitting from the PCV hose and install the hose onto the barb on the intake tube.

Step 12

Reinstall the MAF sensor.

Step 12b

Remove the OEM fresh air duct adaptor from the OEM box and install onto the JLT shield. Using the OEM fender bolt, secure the shield to the car and secure the fresh air duct to the adaptor.

Step 13

Installation is complete. Please review to make sure connections are secure
