Step 1
Cold Side Intercooler Outlet Boot
Using a 11mm Ratchet Wrench, loosen the rearward T-bolt clamp on the forward Cold Side Intercooler outlet boot.
Then go ahead and loosen the forward T-bolt clamp on the 11mm Deep Socket and Electric Ratchet.
Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:
Body Lift or Lowering Kit
Custom Hood
Aftermarket Turbocharger and/or Throttle Body Spacer
-11mm Deep Socket
-11mm Ratchet Wrench
-Electric Ratchet
-Flathead Screw Driver
Cold Side Intercooler Outlet Boot
Using a 11mm Ratchet Wrench, loosen the rearward T-bolt clamp on the forward Cold Side Intercooler outlet boot.
Then go ahead and loosen the forward T-bolt clamp on the 11mm Deep Socket and Electric Ratchet.
Cold Side Intercooler Outlet Boots
Now, move up to the intake elbow and remove the boot between the cold side intercooler pipe and elbow.
For this you can use an 11mm deep socket and electric ratchet.
Cold Side Boots
Once all T-bolt clamps are removed, go ahead and remove both boots from the cold side (1 before the Intake Elbow, 1 at the Intercooler Outlet).
Hot Side Intercooler Inlet Boot
Using an Electric Ratchet and 11mm Deep Socket, go ahead and loosen the two T-bolt clamps on the forward Cold Side Intercooler outlet boot.
Hot Side Turbo Boot
Go ahead and remove the T-bolt clamps at the turbo side using an 11mm Deep Socket and Electric Ratchet.
Once done, please remove the other clamp on the long boot, then fully remove the OEM boot from the hot side intercooler pipe.
Cold Side Boots
Next, go ahead and install the cold side boots onto the Intake Elbow side and Intercooler Outlet on the driver's side.
Once both Cold Side Boots are in place, go ahead and mount/assemble (2) T-bolt clamps to each boot.
Then, using an 11mm Ratchet Wrench and 11mm Deep Socket and Electric Ratchet, go ahead and tighten down the (4) T-bolt clamps.
Hot Side Boots
Go ahead and install the long S&B boot onto the turbo side.
*We recommend installing it onto the hot side intercooler pipe first. Then once done, go ahead and mount it onto the turbo outlet.
Hot Side Boots
Mount the last hot side intercooler boot onto the Intercooler Inlet on the passenger side.
Once done, go ahead and assemble/mount the (4) T-bolt clamps on the hot side boots (2 per boot).
*Note: You'll need to use the two smaller 300 series (5) T-bolt clamps for the Turbo side long boot.
Once done, go ahead and tighten the (2) clamps down using an 11mm Ratchet Wrench and Electric Ratchet with 11mm Deep Socket.
Once done, go ahead and tighten the (2) clamps down using an 11mm Ratchet Wrench and Electric Ratchet with 11mm Deep Socket.
Once all boots are connected, go ahead and tighten down all T-bolt clamps.
Once all T-bolt clamps are tightened down, please torque all T-bolt clamps to 76 Inch Lbs.
Verify that all connection points are flush and secured. Your installation is now complete.
