Before You Start

Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

Aftermarket Strut Brace

Aftermarket Turbocharger and/or Throttle Body Spacer

Aftermarket Intercooler

  • Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.
  • Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
  • Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Required Tools

Step 1

Using a 8mm deep socket, go ahead and remove the bolt holding the coolant reservoir to the core support.

Step 2

Using a 5/16th nut driver or a flat head screwdriver, go ahead and loosen the hose clamp on the driver side of the air box.

Step 3

Using a 10mm socket, go ahead and loosen the nut located just below the coolant reservoir

Step 4

Using a 7mm socket, loosen the throttle body hose clamp.

Once the hose clamp is loosened, go ahead and remove the factory pipe from the throttle body.

Step 5

Slide out the factory retainer clip at the OE quick connect, which is located next to the coolant reservoir.

Step 6

Once the retainer clip is removed, go ahead and pull the factory pipe off the Intercooler outlet.

Step 7

Now it's time to assemble the S&B pipe. First start by installing the provided O-Ring with some grease into the S&B Quick Connect collar.

Step 8

Install the provided retainer clip onto the S&B Quick Connect collar.

Step 9

Install the S&B Quick Connect collar onto the Intercooler Outlet. Ensure that you hear the click of the retaining clip clicking into place. Then give the collar a tug to ensure its fully seated on the outlet.

Step 10

Install the S&B Intercooler Pipe onto the collar and throttle body.

Step 11

Disassemble the provided T-Bolt Clamps using a 7/16th socket. 

Then take clamp # 0325 and mount that on the Intercooler Outlet side of the Intercooler Pipe. Then assemble the clamp with the provided spring and nylon locking nut.

Step 12

Assemble the other provided T-Bolt Clamp using a 7/16th socket on the throttle body side of the S&B Intercooler Pipe. Then tighten it down.


Step 13

Torque both T-Bolt clamps down to 75 in. lbs..

Step 14

Re-install the intake tube onto the air box using either a 5/16th nut driver or flat head screwdriver.

Step 15

Using a 8mm deep socket, go ahead and re-install the bolt holding the coolant reservoir to the core support.

Step 16

Ensure all connection points are tightened down, and that the (2) T-Bolt clamps are torqued to 75 in. lbs.. 

Your install is now complete.
