Disconnect the fitting located on the firewall behind the EGR cooler. We recommend using needle nose pliers or vise grips.

Disconnect the other side of the OEM Heater Core Supply hose.

Step 3

Using a 7/8th deep socket and ratchet, unscrew the OE fitting for the OE heater core supply hose.

Step 4

Now it's time to prep the S&B fitting to be installed.

First, start by putting a bead of thread sealant on the S&B fitting.

Then thread the S&B fitting into the same port as where the OEM fitting was.

Step 5

Tighten down the S&B fitting into the port using a 7/16th Deep Socket and Ratchet until its hand tight, then give it 2 more full turns.

Step 6

Connect the firewall side of the Heater Core Supply Hose. Then tighten down the hose clamp using a 7mm socket, extension, and ratchet.

Step 7

Connect the other side of the S&B Heater Core Supply Hose to the S&B fitting. Then tighten it down using the same 7mm socket, extension, and ratchet.

Step 8

Lastly, reattach the engine cover, very everything is tight and secure. The installation is now complete.
