Before You Start

Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

Body Lift or Lowering Kit

Custom Hood

Aftermarket Turbocharger, Intercooler and/or Non-S&B Intake Elbow 

  • Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.
  • Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
  • Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Required Tools

  • 5/16th Nut Driver
  • 7/16th Deep Socket
  • 10mm Deep Socket
  • 1mm Deep Socket
  • 10"+ Extension
  • Ratchet Wrench
  • Panel Popper
  • T20 Torxz
  • Torque Wrench (Inch Lbs.)

Step 1

Start be removing the 14x push pins holding the radiator shroud using a Panel Popper.

Step 2

Remove the 2x bolts holding on the air intake shroud using a 10mm socket.

Then remove the scoop from the air box.

Step 3

Unscrew the screws holding the MAF Sensor to the air box using a T20 Torx.

Step 4

Unclip the christmas tree clip on the intake scoop tunnel.


Step 5

Loosen the 2x hose clamps on the intake tube using a 5/16th nut driver.

Then remove the intake tube and air box.

Step 6

Loosen the 2x clamps (1x at the Turbo Outlet, 1x at the Intercooler Inlet) using an 11mm Deep Socket and an 10"+ Extension.

Step 7

Now, its time to remove the 2x hose clamps from the Cold Side (Driver's Side) by using an 11mm Deep Socket and an Extension.

Step 8

Take the S&B Intercooler Lower Boot from the Cold Side Pipe assembly and install it on the Intercooler Outlet with the 2x provided Hose Clamps.

Step 9

Install the S&B Cold Side Intercooler Pipe with the provided boot to the Intake Elbow.

Start by indexing the Intercooler Pipe into the lower boot, then install it onto the Intake Elbow.

Step 10

Then tighten the 4x hose clamps on the Cold Side Intercooler Pipe using a 7/16th Deep Socket.

Step 11

Now repeat the same process on the Hot Side (Passenger Side).

Install the smaller diameter end of the lower boot on the Intercooler inlet with both hose clamps.

Step 12

Next, install the smaller diameter end of the provided boot onto the turbo outlet with both hose clamps.

Step 13

Then snake the host side intercooler pipe into position. 

Step 14

Tighten down the 4x hose clamps using a 7/16th deep socket and extension.

Step 15

Torque down all 8x hose clamps to 75 in. lbs. using a torque wrench.

Step 16

Re-install the Intake Tube, Hose Clamps, Air Box and MAF Sensors back into position.

Step 18

Re-install the Air Inlet.

Step 19

Re-install the 11x Push Pins holding the Radiator Shroud.

Step 20

Verify everything is tight and secured.

Your install is now complete.
