Before You Start

Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

Body Lift or Lowering Kit

  • Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.
  • Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
  • Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Floor Jack w/ Extension

Impact Electric Drill

15mm Deep Socket

19mm Deep Socket

Socket Extensions

Torque Wrench (Ft.Lbs.)

Step 1

Start by removing the lower driver side front core support bolt. For this you'll need an 18mm socket.

Step 2

Then remove the passenger side Front Core Support mount. 

Step 3

Now, work your way down the passenger side of the vehicle and remove the lower section of the body mounts.

Step 4

Next, go ahead and swap over to the driver side of the vehicle and remove the lower section of the body mounts.

Step 5

Next, go ahead and jack up the driver side of the truck. 

Note: we only recommend jacking up the trucks cab from a secure point such as a pinch weld or reinforced part of the cab.

Step 6

Certain rows are going to require a different body mount shape. Please look at the specific body mount plate to identify what mount you're going to need.

For instance, the image to the right depicts an the Row 2 Mount being an oval shape. Whereas the Front Core Support mount will be a circular design for body mounts.


Step 7

Now, go ahead and install the (4) S&B Body Mounts on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Step 8

Install the lower section of each passenger side mount (4), then install the new bolts that we provide in the kit to only be hand tight for now.

Step 9

Then move on to the Drivers Side. 

Now, go ahead and jack up the driver side of the truck. 

Note: we only recommend jacking up the truck from a secure point such as a pinch weld or reinforced part of the cab.

Step 10

With the cab lifted up, go ahead and remove the (4) Body Mounts on the Drivers Side.

Step 11a

Install the upper section of S&B Body Mounts (4) on the Drivers Side of the vehicle. 

Next, go ahead and jack up the driver side of the truck. 

Note: we only recommend jacking up the truck from a secure point such as a pinch weld or reinforced part of the cab.

Step 11b

Note: we only recommend jacking up the truck from a secure point such as a pinch weld or reinforced part of the cab.

Step 12

Now it's time to install all (4) lower sections of the S&B Body Mounts and provided bolts on the Driver Side of the vehicle.

Then use an 15mm socket to tighten them down in preparation for the next step.

Step 13

No go ahead and torque down all (8) S&B Body Mounts bolts to 60ft.lbs..

Step 14

Ensure that all mounts are flush with their brackets and that all bolts are torqued to spec. 

Your installation is now complete.
