Disconnect the marker light bulbs.
Remove the two 7mm bolts holding the grille assembly onto the vehicle. Then remove the entire grille assembly from the vehicle.
Passenger Side
Now it's time to remove the (2) Front Core Support mounts. Go ahead and start on the Passenger side lower core support mount. You'll need a 15mm socket and Breaker Bar on top, as well as an 18mm socket for the nut under the mount.
*For this step, we recommend having someone help you hold the Breaker Bar for the upper core support mount bolt.
Go ahead and do the same thing for the Driver Side Front Core Support lower mount.
It may not be fully necessary, but we recommend loosening the 18mm bolt located between the corner of the Front Bumper and the Marker lights.
*2 bolts in total.
Drivers Side
Now that you've removed the lower section of the Driver Side Core Support mount, go ahead and work your way down the driver side line of body mounts and just remove the lower section for right now. You'll need a 15mm socket for this step.
Driver Side
Next, jack up the cab of the vehicle and remove the upper section of the Body Mounts.
*use a pinch-weld or secure lift point when jacking up your vehicles cab in order to prevent damage from occurring.
Once that's done, install the top section of the Front Driver Side Core Support first, then install the (3) remaining upper sections of the S&B body mounts onto the frame.
Driver Side
Lower the cab down onto the S&B Upper Body Mounts.
Next, take the (4) lower sections of the S&B Body Mounts and using the provided 18mm bolts, go ahead and bolt up each Body Mount assembly, starting with the Front Core Support.
*For the Front core support, you'll need a 15mm socket for the top end and an 18mm socket for the bottom end of the core support mount bolt.
**Make sure to not fully tighten/torque down the (4) bolts down in order to make the next set of steps easier.
Passenger Side
Now go ahead and move to the Passenger side and work your way down the line removing the lower section of Body Mounts. You'll need a 15mm socket for this step as well.
Passenger Side
Now, using a floor jack with an extension, jack up the passenger side truck body enough to remove the old Upper Body Mounts (4 in total).
*use a pinch-weld or secure lift point when jacking up your vehicles cab in order to prevent damage from occurring.
Install the (4) S&B Upper Body Mounts.
Passenger Side
Lower the cab down onto the upper S&B Body Mounts.
Next, take the (4) lower sections of the S&B Body Mounts and using the provided 18mm bolts, go ahead and bolt up the (4) S&B Body Mounts.
Once done, go ahead and fully tighten the passenger side body mount bolts down (4).
*For the Front core support, you'll need a 15mm socket for the top end and an 18mm socket for the bottom end.
Driver Side
Fully tighten down the (4) Body Mount Bolts on the driver side.
Once every bolt is tightened, go ahead and Torque down each body mount bolt to 63 ft.lbs..
Tighten the two 18mm bolts, one on each corner of the bumper. Please refer to Step 7 earlier in this install.
Mount the grille back into position.
Tighten down the (4) bolts on the top of the grille.
Tighten down the (2) bolts just behind the headlights.
Lastly, tighten down the screw behind the GMC grille text.
Install the headlights, marker lights, and turn signal bulbs into their respective locations.
Tip: When installing the headlight assembly/housing, ensure that the housing has text visible on the top and the bulbs are facing straight out.
Once done, go ahead and tighten down each of the headlight housings (4) bolts/screws per headlight assembly.
Once done, verify all bolts are tightened and torqued down to the proper Torque Spec.
Your installation is now complete.
