Before You Start

Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

Body Lift or Lowering Kit

Custom Hood

Aftermarket Turbocharger and/or Throttle Body Spacer

  • Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.
  • Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
  • Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Required Tools

5/16th Nut Driver

T15 Torx Driver

T27 Torx Driver

8mm Socket

Step 1

Using a T27 Torx driver, go ahead remove the bolt holding the stock intake to the core support.

Step 2

Use an 8mm socket to unbolt the air box from the passenger side of the engine bay.

Step 3

Using a Panel Popper Tool, go ahead and remove the christmas tree pin located on the engine side of the air box.

Step 4

Now it's time to disconnect the MAF Sensor. Start by pushing out the white clip, then unplug the sensor from the intake tube.

Step 5

Using a pair of vice-grips, go ahead and disconnect the hose connected to the intake tube.

Step 6

Using a 7mm socket, loosen the hose clamp on the stock intake tube.

Step 7

Remove the second christmas tree pin on the lower outer side of the air box.

Then remove the stock intake from the engine bay.

Step 8

Using a T15 Torx driver, go ahead and remove the (2) screws holding the MAF Sensor to the intake tube.

Step 9

Assemble the S&B Spacer & Foam Gasket to the MAF Sensor.

Step 10

Mount the MAF Sensor to the S&B Intake Tube using the (2) provided screws using a phillips screwdriver.

Step 11

Assemble the coupler onto the intake tube. Then assemble the (2) hose clamps onto the coupler in preparation for a future step.

Step 12

Install the air box front seal.

Step 13

Install the Tube Seal onto the side of the Air Box.

Step 14

Place the S&B Air Filter inside the Air Box.

Step 15

Install the S&B Intake Tube into the S&B Air Box. 

Step 16

Install the S&B Intake into the engine bay, ensuring that it fully seats onto the factory mounting locations.

Step 17

Re-install the OEM core support bolt and tighten it down using a T27 Torx driver.

Step 18

Re-clip the upper christmas tree push pin (from step 3) into the S&B Air Box.

Step 19

Reconnect the hose onto the S&B Intake Tube. 

Step 20

Reconnect the MAF Sensor and once connected, go ahead and push in the white safety clip.

Step 21

Tighten down the (2) hose clamps around the coupler on the Intake Tube.

Step 22

Tighten down the hose clamp around the Air Filter flange around the Intake Tube.

Step 23

Assemble the Clear Lid into the snap-in Lid Seal.

Then install it onto the S&B Air Box.

Step 24

Verify that all connection points are tight and secure. 

Your install is now complete.
