Step 1

Start by removing the 13mm bolt holding the engine cover to the top of the engine.

Step 2

Loosen the 10mm bolt located next to the OEM intake tube. You'll need a 10mm Deep Socket & Long Extension to complete this step.

Step 3

Disconnect the coolant reservoir line from the clips on the top of the stock intake tube.

*Important: Be careful to not burn yourself on this hardline as the engine may still be hot.

Step 4

Next, go ahead and remove the MAF Sensor electrical harness from the intake tube by disconnecting the (4) pins using a panel popper.

Step 5

Now, go ahead and disconnect the MAF Sensor.

For this you'll need to pull the white tab on the connector towards the cab, then disconnect the connector.

Step 6

Using a 5/16th nut driver, go ahead and loosen the (2) hose clamps on the factory intake tube.

Then remove the OEM intake tube from the engine bay.

*Then cover up the throttle body with a latex glove or microfiber towel to ensure nothing falls in there during the install.

Step 7

Then, go ahead and remove the entire factory intake air box from the engine bay by lifting it up and off the (4) posts.

Step 8

Using a flat head screwdriver, go ahead and remove the (2) coolant line clips from the factory intake tube.

*Important: Do not use a panel popper to remove these clips as you may break them.

Step 9

Using a T20 Torx, go ahead and disconnect the MAF Sensor from the factory air box outlet.

*Important: Once removed, please ensure that the factory gasket is on the MAF Sensor.

Step 10

Install the (4) grommets from the OEM air box onto the S&B air box.

Step 11

Transfer the MAF Sensor into the S&B intake tube using the provided gasket and mounting plate.

Then mount inside the intake tube and tighten down using the provided screws.

Step 12

Install the air straightener into the intake tube by lining up the tabs and pipe cutout to line up with the MAF Sensor.

Step 13

Install the coolant line and MAF electrical harness brackets onto the S&B intake tube.

Step 14

Install the S&B air box into the factory location, utilizing the (4) posts.

Step 15

Now it's time to install the S&B air filter into the air box.

Ensure that the S&B logo is at the 12 o'clock position and that the notch in the air filter flange is lined up with the button on the air box.

Step 16

Now, go ahead and install the coupler onto the S&B intake tube assembly and line up the indicators on the intake tube.

Step 17

Next, go ahead and install the large hose clamp around the S&B air filter flange before you install the intake tube assembly.

Step 18

Now, go ahead and install the intake tube into position and line up the alignment marks to the notch in the air filter flange.

Step 19

Once the S&B intake tube assembly is aligned, go ahead and tighten the (5) hose clamps using a 5/16th nut driver.

Step 20

Install the coolant line clips onto the intake tube brackets' oblong shaped holes. Then reinstall the coolant line back into position.

Step 21

Re-install the MAF harness onto the same brackets from the previous step.

Step 22

Connect the MAF harness connector to the actual MAF Sensor.

Then zip-tie the extra harness to the coolant return line.

Step 23

Re-install the factory engine cover back into position. Ensure that it's secured by fully mounting to the grommet posts and by tightening down the 13mm nut near the fire wall.

Step 24

Ensure that all connection points are tight and secure. Your installation is now complete.
