Before You Start

Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

Body Lift or Lowering Kit

Custom Hood

Aftermarket Turbocharger and/or Throttle Body Space

  • Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.
  • Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
  • Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Required Tools

Step 1:

Disconnect the MAP Sensor by pressing down on the top tab and pull the plug away from the intake tube.

Step 2:

Disconnect the MAP Sensor harness from the air box.

Step 3:

Using a 10mm socket and ratchet, go ahead and loosen the hose clamp on the low side of the stock intake tube.

Step 4:

Now, go ahead and remove the stock intake assembly off the 3 grommet posts underneath the stock air box.

Step 5:

Ensure that no OEM grommets remain on the 3 posts.

Step 6:

Install the 3 provided grommets on the S&B air box.

Step 7: (Optional)

Install the forward box plug on your S&B air box.

Step 8:

Unscrew the MAP Sensor from the stock intake tube using a Phillips Screwdriver, then re-install the MAP Sensor into the S&B Intake Tube using the provided spacer, gasket, and screws. 

Tip: When assembling the MAP Sensor, please place the spacer then the gasket onto the spacer. Once done, go ahead and install it.

Step 9:

Install the 2x Foam Isolators around the passenger side fender air inlet.

Step 10:

Install the provided S&B Air Filter into the S&B air box. Ensure theat the air filters flange fully seals around the circular edge on the air box.

Step 11:

Mount the S&B Intake Tube assembly into the S&B Air Box.

Tip: In order to test fit, please don't tighten anything at this point.

Step 12:

Install the S&B Air Box assembly into the stock location, ensuring that it lines up with the 3 grommets. Once done, please line up the intake tube and mount the coupler on the low side of the intake tube side. Once done, go ahead and push the air box down, fully seating the 3 grommets on their posts.

Step 13:

Tighten the 2 hose clamps on the low side of the intake tube. You'll need a 5/16th nut driver to do so.

Step 14:

Now, go ahead and tighten the hose clamp on the top side of the intake tube at the air box. Once again, you'll need a 5/16th nut driver.

Step 15:

Take the MAP Sensor wiring harness and first mount the clip onto the S&B Air Box. Then, go ahead and reconnect the MAP Sensor.

Step 16:

Remove the protective film off the clear lid. Then install the clear lid into the Air Box Lid Seal.

Step 17:

Install the Clear Lid onto the S&B Air Box.

Step 18:

Please ensure that all connection points are tight and secure. Your installation is now complete.
