STEP 2a

Disconnect the sensor located on the passenger side at the intake scoop.

STEP 2b

Unclip the accessory located on the driver side of the air box.

Loosen the hose clamp on the intake tube.

STEP 6

Remove the intake tube from the air box and then lift the air box up and out.

STEP 7

Remove the stock air box from the engine bay.

Tip: To remove, lift the air box up, push towards windshield, then lift up and out.

STEP 8

Loosen the hose clamp on the firewall end of the intake tube. Then remove the intake tube.

STEP 9

Unscrew the MAF assembly from the OEM air box.

Tip: You will need a T20 torx bit screwdriver.

STEP 11

Remove the 4 grommets from the stock air box and re-install on the S&B air box.

STEP 12

Install the circular tube seal (#7) onto the S&B air box.

STEP 13

Install the 3 clips (#4) into their corresponding mounting locations throughout the engine bay.

Tip: Please refer to step 2 & 3 for the locations. Additionally, we have noticed that some vehicles will require a 4th clip on the back of the air box. If your application requires this, we have included a spare for you to use.

Tip: You will need an allen key to install these clips.

STEP 14

Install the snorkel inlet plug (#3) as well as the Front Scoop (#2) onto the S&B air box.

Tip: If you are using a snorkel, this step will not apply.

STEP 17

Take the step down coupler (#16) from the intake tube and install it on the intake port located at the firewall just behind the motor. Then install the intake tube.

Tip: We recommend installing this with the two hose clamps already in position and in a way that it's easy to access/tighten.

STEP 18

Install the OEM grommets onto the new air box and then install the new S&B air box.

Tip: We recommend installing the front two grommets first then the two by the firewall.

STEP 19

Install the intake tube with the step couplers to the MAF assembly.

STEP 20

Install the MAF sensor assembly along with the intake tube to the S&B air box.

Tip: We recommend removing the filter adaptor from the air box first. Additionally, we also recommend installing this with the 4 hose clamps in position already.
