STEP 1
With the ignition switched off, make sure the vehicle is in Park and the parking brake set. Make sure the engine has cooled down.
Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
Ensure all parts are present.

Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park and the Parking Brake is set.
S&B FILTERS recommends that you keep your OE intake system in the event it is required in the future.
In order to maintain your warranty, all connections and components must be checked periodically for alignment and for proper tension on all connections. Failure to do so may void your warranty.
Use only S&B FILTERS cleaning and oil products to service your filter. Using any other brand oil and or cleaners on your S&B air filter may void your warranty
• Intake Tubes and Filter connections and Intake Box fasteners making sure they are tight.
• All electrical connections and wire harnesses moved during the installation of the intake and make sure they are secure and away from any hot or moving components.
• Check for any signs of abrasion or wear and tear on the intake tube, box, filter, and electrical harnesses moved or near the intake and repair/replace as necessary.
Ratchet/Wrench, 8mm & 10mm Socket, Panel Popper, Crescent Wrench, Phillips Screwdriver and Pliers

With the ignition switched off, make sure the vehicle is in Park and the parking brake set. Make sure the engine has cooled down.
Remove the white PCV connector by depressing the button and pulling off
Pinch the two sides of the green connector and remove.
Depress the button for the IAT sensor and remove.
With a 10mm socket, remove the nut holding down the airbox.
Loosen the airbox hose clamp and remove the intake tube from the airbox.
Remove the fresh air duct from the airbox then remove the airbox from the vehicle.
Remove the IAT sensor from the airbox. Lift the tab up over the ramp and rotate counterclockwise
Squeeze the constant tension clamp and remove the hose from the intake tube.
Use a 5/8" quick disconnect tool to remove the line on the tube.
Remove the hose clamp that is attached to the turbo.
After the complete OEM intake system is removed, we will be assembling the S&B intake. Start by installing the antilag coupler into the intake tube. Install the straight coupler onto the intake tube.
Install the fitting onto the intake tube by hand then 1 rotation with a wrench. These are NPT threads so there will still be a couple threads showing after the fitting is installed.
Install the gasket under the fitting plate and install onto the intake tube.
Install the grommet for the IAT sensor into the intake tube.
Remove the grommet and shoulder washer from the OEM intake and install into the hole on the S&B air box.
Install the tube seal into the S&B Air Box.
No you can decide if you wish to install the box plug. In excessively hot climates, we recommend installing the box plug.
Remove the clear lid from the protective film and install into the silicone snap in seal.
Install the intake tube onto the turbo with the hose clamp facing up. This will help tightening the hose clamp with an extension.
With 1 hand, hold the hose clamp on the turbo. Use a long rachet extension to tighten the hose clamp down.
Install the S&B air box into the car with the stud going through the shoulder washer. Push the S&B intake tube through the tube seal and the fresh duct through the opening in the airbox. Reinstall the factory nut onto the stud.
Reinstall the 3 quick connect fittings and hose onto the intake tube. Secure the hose with the constant tension clamp.
Plug the IAT harness into the IAT sensor.
Install the S&B air filter onto the intake tube. Tighten down with a 5/16" driver or flat head
Install the snap in lid onto the airbox. Double check all connections are tight and there is proper clearance around the intake system.
