Before You Start

Kit may not fit with the following Aftermarket Parts installed:

Body Lift or Lowering Kit

Custom Hood

  • Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • If you are missing any of the components, call our customer support at (909) 947-0015.
  • Do not work on your vehicle while the engine is hot.
  • Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or the Parking Brake is set.

Required Tools

Step 1

Start by removing the front flap just behind the bumper. For this you'll need a panel remover tool and remove the (3) christmas tree clips.

*This step is optional as you are able to access the bolts from the front of the bumper. However, we still recommend removing this flap as it makes it easier to access the bolts.

Step 2

Now, go ahead and remove all (7) 8mm bolts holding the factory valance into place using a ratchet and 8mm socket. 

Step 3

Then remove all (6) of the push pins using a panel removal tool. 

Once done, the stock valance can now be removed.

Step 4

Using an 18mm deep socket and electric ratchet, go ahead and remove the front frame horn brackets. 

*To make this step easier, we recommend using a swivel-socket & extension to access the bolts.

Step 5

Remove all (7) clip-nuts from the factory valance and install them on the S&B Valance where there is a recess.

Step 6

Next, go ahead and bolt the valance back on using an 8mm socket and ratchet.

*Important: The bolt on either end of the valance can be accessed from the top using an extension.

Step 7

Now, please re-install the (7) push-pins back into place.

Step 8

Zip-tie the wiring harness up and out of the way so it's not visible.

Step 9

Verify all connection points are tight and secure.

Your install is now complete.
